Anahita Kay

Writer, pessimist, and a hilarious afterthought

We barreled through boundaries

In speeds unseen by the human eye

A shooting star sizzling softly in the serenity of silence

I whimpered and wept in bath water

Finally understanding the fundamentals of finality

As well as the weight of unwanted unity

Belonging to nothing clung to your borders

Acute adjournment adhered to my advances.

A complete cycle of cynicism that ended with separation of spirit.

I wonder if I will treasure time the same way ever again.

staring up at the same night sky with sadness lightly lingering

speculating that you stir a little when you look up

roughly reminded of my head on your shoulders as we said goodbye

the first time.
