About the author
Anahita Kay is an Iranian-British-American writer in Atlanta, celebrated for her unique blend of dystopian politics, complex romance, and ordinary people’s rebellion. Her stories explore fragile power dynamics and moral ambiguity, inspired by her upbringing and a belief in the humanity of villains.
In addition to fiction, Ana writes poetry that examines longing and identity. She is finalizing her debut collection, Formed in Fondness, and an unnamed second collection written in the style of sonnets and contradictions.
When not writing, Ana is usually traveling in search of new stories or chasing after her husky, Alfie. She is currently completing Unity Paradox, the first novel in her YA dystopian series, which explores nationalism, loyalty, and the quiet comforts of control.
