Anahita Kay

Writer, pessimist, and a hilarious afterthought

Leaving to find peace

While losing a piece of me in the process

Paralyzed by pretension in a peculiar pattern

I run

As if the world was endless and the stars recklessly reached infinity regardless of rules.

Admittedly time and space never made any sense in solitude

Perhaps I passionately ponder in the unknown

What life would be like

If I could just stop leaving.

Oh, absolutely I love this ❤️. You should check out a poem I posted on my blog called Silent Cries. (You don’t have to of course. No need to “return the favor”, but when I read your piece, my poem Silent Cries popped into my head)
